DBT Skills Series: DBT is an evidenced based practice that aims to support change in negative behavioral patterns by focusing on four main components: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance and emotion regulation. DBT aims to provide skills in these four components to improve quality of life. This series is not a therapeutic processing group but will be focusing on education of the skills in the four main modules. DBT Skills Series: Mindfulness Part 1. This class will be focused on learning the roots of mindfulness from a DBT perspective and learning how to implement those roots in daily practice.
